We publish an annual Journal. Previous issues have covered a wide range of articles about Hopkins, his life, his family, and of course his poetry. Prospective contributions to The Journal from members or others (scholarly, a point of interest, a piece of fun, etc), are always welcome at any time. Please feel free to take the plunge and contact Dr Jill Robson by emailing her on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Guidelines for prospective contributions to The Hopkins Society Journal can be opened by following this downloadable link, but please do contact Jill prior to preparing an article, bearing in mind that some issues of The Journal have an overall theme and are planned one year to eighteen months in advance. For example, The Hopkins Society Journal no. 41, published in 2021, is a special edition which was prepared with the aim of celebrating the co-hosting of the Alliance of Literary Societies ‘Highgate Flyers’ event with the Betjeman Society that year. The issue for 2022 is centred around the theme ‘Hopkins and Words’.
The Journal is published by The Hopkins Press and is free to members. Otherwise it is £5 per copy, plus £2 postage and packing (£6 p + p for overseas orders).
Email email@example.com with orders and queries.
